Gown cleaning & preservation?

Does anyone have any recommendations on where to go to get my gown cleaned and preserved?

When should I take it? Do I need to go very soon (it's been 3 weeks since the wedding)?

Also, about how much does it cost? Wedding Salon gave me a $100 gift certficate to Meurice Cleaning, so I'm guessing that it's on the expensive side?

Wow a $100 off? Maybe tht covers the whole thing b/c mine only cost $100.
I don't think it would help you since it is in queens!

i haven't gotten mine cleaned and preserved yet! i was going to use j. scheer but then i heard some negative posts --i also got a $100 g/c to meurice in manhasset from the wedding salon so i may go with them...i wanted to check out madame paulette but no one called me back...i also just heard of another co in the city --Chris Hallak?

i doubt the $100 covers the whole thing --i was quoted $500 to have mine cleaned and preserved...madame paulette charges even more than that i heard!

Madame Paulette on 3rd ave and btwn 65th & 66th street - but I have heard they are $$$$. There is also Hallak which is across the street on 3rd btwn 64th and 65th. I have heard they are really good and less than Madam Paulette.

I have also read a bunch of reviews on the Knot about wedclean.com and I have only heard positive things.
