I heard they are usually $300, but I think it also depends on the beadwork.

thanks -- I went to a local cleaner she quoted me about $150 but she could not explain how they preserve it so I did not get the feeling it would be done right

Yet again this comes up - LIW please write a article on this subject

I got my gown preserved by a local cleaners in Lindenhurst that always has gowns done. They cleaned the dress, showed it to me then boxed it in a double box. BUT what is still freaking me out and I have to go there is my dress is in a blue bag inside the window box and I read everywhere that you shouldn't put it in a plastic bag so I am not sure if this is considered a plastic bag.

My cost was $250.00

Yes I keep reading about not having it in a bag as well - it's one of those things I do know what is a reasonable price

My friend just got her back from this website...
wedclean.com, I may try it but my mom thinks we should try another cleaners first. This website charges like 200 i think...

This is where I got mine done, that's about what it cost. It came back in a HUGE box but at least there is a window and I can see my dress....
