is it okay if there's cleavage? or is it too revealing/trampy?
i saw this gown from kleinfeld's website and i really like it. from the picture, it looks classic/elegant but my friend said there's too much cleavage going on...
IDK that model looks like she has no chest I think you would have to just go try it cause u neverknow...

Re: gown question: showing some cleavage....
Well, it depends. Are you having your ceremony in a church? I think that might be a little too low cut for a church. Some churches won't even allow bare shoulders.
It's a gorgeous dress though! I'd say you can look into a modesty panel or something but I think it would take away from the dress. By all means go and try it on, maybe they can make it a little higher or you might find you feel perfectly comfortable where it hits.
FMIL had me try on a gown that I loved but it was so low cut like that. The saleswoman kept insisting it'd be higher since it would fit me right, but I passed on it.

i think it depends on the person wearing the dress... im not comfortable with my own cleavage being seen so i got a dress that is not revealing at all...

I think it's too much. Cleavage is not really appopriate in a chuch setting.

ITA-I think you have to consider the church. Maybe you can wear a jacket or something for the ceremony and take it off for the reception?

Re: gown question: showing some cleavage....
I have an issue with cleavage showing. I think to alot of people its an issue. But it also depends on your chest size. I am a larger chested girl and would be spilling out of that but if you are smaller chested it may be flattering. Try it on, take pics and decide from there

I think the key is to try it on and see if you're comfortable. Most of us aren't built like the models in the ads - in any ads, really - so you need to try it on for yourself and see how you feel.
Also, like others have mentioned, if you're getting married in a church then cleavage is probably not something they'll be thrilled with. Just keep that in mind, you know?
Overall, do what you want to do. If you feel happy and confident and sexy in it, then go for it. (Providing it's okay in the church - if you're getting married in one).

You have to go try the dress on. It is possible that you will not have as much or may not show any cleavage in the dress. Also they can change the dress/fix the top so it is not so revealing.

My dress shows cleavage but I was looking for that--I'm also not getting married in a church. I don't actually think its too much cleavage on model IMO

Re: gown question: showing some cleavage....
that model is posed and positioned also. your drses can be altered so its nice and snug on you and they can add material so your ladies aren't showing off all over the place

I don't think its too much cleavage. Plus the model is kinda bending over so you see more. I think you should try it on and see if you feel comfortable.
You also need to consider what the church will say if you are getting married in one. I'm not, so not an issue for me.

Re: gown question: showing some cleavage....
one thing my fiance said to me when i was tryin on dresses is he doesnt care what I wear as long as I dont have my boobs hangin out, LOL!!!!!!
IMO... I think the dress is pretty but seems very low cut, if you have a big chest I think it will be to much cleavage.. It doesnt hurt to try it on though.. Good luck:)

Re: gown question: showing some cleavage....
It is hard to judge from the picture because the model is bending over and that will make the cleavage look larger in any dress.
Go try it on and see how you feel in it. It is a beautiful dress.

I think you should go try on the dress and see. because each dress will fit everyone differently especailly depending on what your body type is. So I think the best bet is to try it on before you cut it off your list!

Re: gown question: showing some cleavage....
i think its ok to show a little bit... my dress is a little low cut but i got no boobies to fall out so i think it's ok for me. You just have to feel comfortable in it though

Re: gown question: showing some cleavage....
I like cleavage and want to show some clevage but not too much. you could always order a pattern change and they will add more coverage to the top. most designers do it with no problem just an extra charge. if u love the dress, go for it. just get the dress altered to suit u.
