gown shopping

I'm going gown shopping on Friday and was wondering what you need to bring with me... I am going to wear a strapless bra, but do i need to bring shoes? My sister got married a couple of years ago and her crinoline fits me.. Should i bring that too?

I don't think you need to bring your sister's slip. They will have the slips there for you. I think you will be ok with your bra, and if you want bring shoes with about the same size heal you are thinking about wearing.
The shoes aren't totally necessary unless you plan on buying one. They only need the shoes when they take the measurements.

Bring a bra. You don't really need the slip or even shoes - those are more for your fittings. I know Bridal Suite in Centereach had sample shoes in different sizes and heel heights.
Definitely bring something to put your hair up, and water would be a good idea too. Trying on dresses is hard work and very tiring!

Some places lend you a strapless bra but if u have one wear one. Also I didn't worry about shoes- I was more concerned about the dress but some places have diffrent heels for you to try on.

As for the crinoline i don't think you'd need it. Most lend you one or at least some type of slip.

Also have patience, an open mind to trying on dresses that you wouldn't even think about trying on and also time. Water is a good idea.

Most of all- HAVE FUN! (and try and sneak some pics!)
