Has anyone ever ordered their gown online? The Alfred Angelo Dress I want is cheaper through RKBridal.com. The only thing is, its a final sale and if I get the gown too small I'll lose my money. All the dresses I tried on at Davids Bridal were a size 4 but they werent mermaid style dresses. My bottom is a 39. I tried the AA dress on at RK Bridal today but the only size they had was a 14. Should I order a 4?

If you tried it on - have them take your measurements and ask what size you need to order- if it's AA go on his site (if u have your measurements) and see the manufacturer's sizing chart.
Also from my experience is that gowns run a size bigger than your street clothes size- for me I was the same size but also take that into consideration.

IF you are normally a size 4, then you want to order a 6 or 8 usually. Davids runs close to normal size. Everyone else runs small (European sizes) Ive been to 4 places already including RK Bridal. I am so indecisive. I love like 3 dresses and cant decide!!!

yeah i was gonna say wedding dress sizes are different than regular clothes...You have to order a couple sizes bigger than what you are. I don't know about david's bridals sizes but to be a wedding dress size 4, then you have to be about 0-2

get yourself measured by a professional, and ask RK for the size chart for that vendor..... if you even think you could be between sizes, order up....

Yes that's also a good point- don't order down if you are in between sizes- order the larger size.
Weird I was in DB and I also was the same size even though they told me that it was a size bigger than I would normally take.

I really want to save money ordering online for 300 bucks less but if I get the wrong size then IM going to end up losing more money. I think RK Bridal will only measure me if I buy the dress there. WHat to do!!!

well i think davids bridal does regular sizes instead of wedding dress sizes and just about every other place will do wedding dress sizes so be careful...you can go somewhere else to get measured, go to a seamstress
