Has anyone ever purchased the slip for their wedding gown on ebay? In the store they told me those slips are about $80 but on ebay I see some for $12.95. Thoughts?

Re: Gown Slip
Yes! I purchased my crinoline slip on Ebay, I paid 35 bucks I called my bridal place first, asked what type of slip goes with my dress, then went online and searched for the cheapest price.
The bridal place wanted 65 for me to order it from them

Re: Gown Slip
sorry to jump in here (and sound clueless) but what exactly are you supposed to wear under your dress. Do you need a poofy slip or a regular silk one?
I also purchased my slip on ebay, and it was perfect. It served it's purpose, and I paid a third of what retail stores wanted!

Re: Gown Slip
i had to order one specially because my dress is a trumpet shape and bridal salon doesnt carry them. I researched on line and i think it was $60.00.

It's like a poofy slip. Some bridal stores give you one to put on when you are trying on dresses. There are different levels of poof...lol....so it depends on what kind of dress you have and what you are going for. The place where you buy your dress should tell you what slip would be best.
