Like the bustier or bra or whatever it's called and the big skirt you wear underneath the gown. The top has to be strapless. Where can I get these things from?

Re: Gown Undergarments?
I got my bra at Mary's Corsetier in Woodbury..they fit you, show your attendant how to put it on (yes there is a right way and wrong way) and they'll alter it to fit you perfectly......$54 for mine...and the slip I got at David's bridal where I got my dress

What is the information for this Mary's place? Is there a website or something? Or where exactly is it?

I got my corset at Victoria's Secret. It is so comfortable and it is seamless. You don't even know it is on and it is so slimming. I am going to get my skirt (what is it called?) were I got my dress, Bridal Reflections.

Re: Gown Undergarments?
Well I wanted a nicer corset or whatever. I didn't think they were that pretty at David's Bridal. The skirt i can get from there I guess. Maybe I'll get the corset from Victoria's Secret.

Re: Gown Undergarments?
I have pics of mine, I can post them if you like, but what are you looking for? The corset I got is real steel boning, custom made so its a bit pricey. In the 350+ range.
THe VS one is really nice, I saw it in a girl's wedding pics and it looked awesome.

Re: Gown Undergarments?
No, I don't want to spend $350 on one! If I had the money, I would. That's more than half of what my gown cost!
The Victoria's Secret ones should be fine since they're only around $70 something. I might try to go to their store and see if they have them there, but if they don't have the really pretty ones from the website, I'll have to order it through the website. I want to have it for when I pick up my dress next Friday. DB said they usually hold dresses for about a week, but hello, it's around the holidays right now and kind of hard when I work during the week.

Re: Gown Undergarments?
urgh I hate how unaccomodating bridal stores can be, esp. ones closed on sundays....
Did you get the 30% off coupon that someone posted a while back? Do a search and use that on your corset! :)

Re: Gown Undergarments?
You may want to check out Mary's then.. I did NOT pay 350 bucks for a corset..It was more like 60-70 bucks around there.. I found many that I liked at VS and Frederick's but they didn't fit me b/c they were too big.. and to boot, I have a small chest.. I would def check it out.. there'snothing better than having something custom made to your body..

Re: Gown Undergarments?
mary's is in woodbury, on woodbury road - they individually tailor all undergarments to fit your body. they can remove boning or move it over, etc. they take in the cups if you are between sizes, etc. they also can add straps to strapless undergarments. they are definetly worth checking out. Re: Gown Undergarments?
I just left Mary's this morning, and I can truly vouch for them. What nice people and they do everything while you wait! I paid $60 for a bustier that was taken in at the bottom and had the foam removed from the cups. They will also refit you right before the wedding if necessary. I thought about getting a real corset but I don't really want to be all that uncomfortable on the day of, I will be dressed from noon til one a.m. so I really want to be comfortable!

Re: Gown Undergarments?
I paid just shy of $60 for my strapless bra/corset....it came with the straps for garters that are removable, and I go back about 3 weeks before the wedding for them to put darts in the cups so they fit perfect....she also gave me some awesome pointers regarding what you wear underneath it all!!!

Re: Gown Undergarments?
What 30% coupon? Where is it?
I'll definitely check out Mary's as I have a pretty small chest too and sometimes the corsets don't fit right.
