grand gestures...

has anyone had someone do a really grand gesture for them - something really big and special??

well...my boss gave me a diamond today as a wedding gift. that's pretty big.


oooh...my MOH and her sister (both my aunts) held a makeshift bridal shower/bachelorette party for me on saturday in Florida.....sooo sweet!!

glad to see i am not the only one who feels like they never got a BIG moment.

why does TV and movies make it look so common??

seriously...the next oprah (or any show) where they give away a house or car or wedding (yes, a wedding) to a couple with $$$ (you've seen them, he's a top notch surgeon, she's the jr. partner at the biggest law firm in the nation....but they NEED a free wedding!!!) i may kill myself..how about giving that stuff to those who really can't afford it??? (like us!!!)
