Grand Lux Cafe

Has anyone been to the new one by Roosevelt Field Mall? Is the food good?

Hi, yes, I work right across from it and went there for lunch one day. The food is great and the menu is very very extensive! The lunch portion was huge so I can't imagine the dinner size. I would recommend it.

They also have some tea time and dessert buffet events at their bar that sounded interesting...

ive eaten there--very comparable to cheesecake factory.

prices are similar to Cheesecake Factory as well

It's the same owners as Cheesecake Factory, actually they even serve cheesecake from the CF. The food is good however I ordered the shrimp scampi which was $18.95 and when they brought it out it was the same exact shrimp scampi you get at CF and their it's only $16.95. I'm not one to gripe over $2 but it's the principle of the thing...

I ate there... I thought it was good.. but for some reason.. I find a better selection at The Cheesecake Factory... I'd definitely try it again though.
