We're already all booked, but I'm just curious if anyone priced GPH? They have the corniest commercials, my fiance and I make fun of them all the time, but the place looks absolutely gorgeous. And I just read a brides review from 2004 with pics, apparently the place is 100 years old... and it is really beautiful. Now I want someone to tell me how insanely expensive it is so I can feel better about not looking at it

HAHAHA those commercials.... Yea Jericho Terrace is fantastic, I don't regret booking there at all! Just curious how much GPH was, but doesn't seem like anyone books there.

Hahahaha! I see that commercial EVERY day I turn on the TV- that one and for Antun's in Queens Village.
I can ask my friend though if she might know how much if you really want to know... I think her and her DH priced there before booking somewhere else.

Re: Grand Prospect Hall
I actually live near the Grand Prospect Hall. FH and I walked in on a whim when we were in prospect park just hanging out a few weeks after we got engaged. We knew we wanted to get married outdoors on the water, and we were definitely not going to get married there, but walked in for fun. The grand ballroom is beautiful, but you have to guarantee I think 250 people, which we are not. There are two smaller rooms, with a 150 guarantee. We were quoted 115 pp for a sunday in July for one of those. I have no idea how much the grand ballroom went for. They have 3 affairs at a time. Hope that makes you feel better!

Re: Grand Prospect Hall
My DH cousin got married there. It looked really beautiful....they had so many people, they couldn't fit lots of other halls.
My DH LOVED it there....and he objected to half of the halls due to 'cheesy factor'.
Go figure!
I have no clue how much it cost her, though.

Re: Grand Prospect Hall
We might squeak by with about 250 if a lot of the people invited come, but we def couldn't have guaranteed it, so that does help!

I went a wedding there a few years ago and it was gorgeous. The food & service were good.

Re: Grand Prospect Hall
i went to a grandiose sweet 16 there - the place is definitely 'old' and Donald-Trump grand style, if u know what i mean everything's in gold -- i guess you have to be into that to really appreciate it. i don't think it was that expensive ... i can ask my friend how much it cost ...

Re: Grand Prospect Hall
My friend got married there in like 2001 and it was phenomenal!!! I mean really unbelivable!!! If I lived closer, I'd probably book there it...it was really spectacular!!
