Grandma....

is having her bladder removed. She has bladder cancer and this was the only option at this point. Surgery is 4 hours with a long recovery that is physically and mentally challenging.

I don't know how I will concentrate at work today.

It must be hard to concentrate

My FIL recently had this surgery, and it has been difficult, but he got through it and now he still golfs, swims, does all the things he used to...he thought his life would be over with having an appliance instead of a bladder, that had to be manually emptied, but after the psychological adjustment, he's doing great, and thrilled to be alive.

I hope the surgery goes smoothly...please keep us updated. My prayers are with her
