today I went into fh's email to find a file he sent me, i found an email from his grandmother telling me she thinks Im having second thoughts about marrying him.
Should I have expected him to tell me he got this email? i feel a bit betrayed by his grandmother most of all but also by him for not telling me about it
Thoughts please

Re: grandma in law thinks I wanna bail
IMO, you are in a tough spot because you came across information in a way that may make FH feel that you are being less than honest so you really have to think about that before you confront him. I can see why you would be hurt but depending on FH's relationship with his grandmother, he may have just written it off as nonsense, and therefore felt that there was no need to tell you OR (depending on how old it is), he may be mulling over the best way to approach you.

Re: grandma in law thinks I wanna bail
was an email he had already read, or a new one?
knowing myself, either way, I would not be able to keep my mouth shut. she went to the trouble of sending him an email about it, so I would be concerned too! Can't blame you for that at all.
I would probably bring it up to him. My FH and I keep nothing from each other. we have each other's passwords, ATM PIN #'s, etc. so he wouldn't be mad at me for coming across this email. especially since like you said, you were looking for something else.
on a side note.... why would she think that anyway?

I wouldnt be upset with FH. He probably thinks shes just getting a little cooky in her old age. Id be a little upset with grandma, but even more curious to know why she feels this way.

I would sit on the information for a few days just to give him some time to maybe bring it up. If he doesn't maybe say you saw something on the boards about the same situation and ask him nonchalantly 'no one in your family thinks that way, right' may be a little to devious but it might work. Just to make you feel better.

Ewww, thats tough Jen. I agree with Daniela. You don't want him not to trust you and think your looking over his emails. I'd be pretty upset. I would probably say something, but in a not-so-ultra-serious way. I would def not wanna start a fight with FH.
Good Luck

it was read and just like you, we have each others passwords so i guess technically i wasnt snooping.
i have a feeling it has to do with the semi-fit i had at church on sun....his pastor has treated me badly since i told him i was catholic and i was not going to change my religions. My kids will be raised Lutheran but i guess thats not good enough for him. even since he ignores when i have a question for him- he did this on sunday when i casually aske dhimm if he knew how long the aisle is - he goes 'oh youre not on of those silly brides who wants an ailse runner are you...and to fh he says 'dont worry, ill talk her out of it'
so i stormed out of church and i refuse to talk to him again. Grandma is very active in the church so maybe it ruffled her feathers a bit
