I am in the process of making my programs and am running into problems left and right.
I know grandmas usually get escorted down the aisle. Here are my questions:
1) In what order? Mine than fiance's?
2) Do you list the person escorting them in the program (ie: Groom's Grandmother....Jean Mason escorted by Tony Mason)
3) My grandfather has a live-in girlfriend of 6 years (I know - go grandpa). does she get escorted?
A big TIA!!
Oh - and here is more...
My mother...should she get escorted by her live in boyfriend (I know, my whole family lives in sin) or should my brother - a groomsman escort her and go back?
AGAIN - TIA!!!

Re: Grandma's walking down the aisle
I think your grandpa and his girlfriend can walk together, and your mom can walk with her boyfriend.
Do the other grandparents still have their spouse?

Re: Grandma's walking down the aisle
Yes - my grandma has my grandfather but the other two grandmas don't....UGH - which leads to the next dilemma!!!!!
My FH's grandparents are divorced. If I have my grandfather walk his girlfriend and then FH's grandmother gets escorted down - what about his grandfather - her ex husband? Great...

What about your FH's mom? Can she walk the grandfather?

Re: Grandma's walking down the aisle
Traditionally, the bride's mother is the last one to be seated; that's what signals the start of the wedding. I would have her escorted to her seat by a groomsman. As for the grandparents, that's a tough one. Maybe you can have the grandparents and their significant others escorted by groomsman to their seats ... before the processional.
