FI and I have a small bridal party(2 bm's and 2 gm's). We were going to get an 10 or 12 passenger limo so we could put FIL's in limo with us. FFIL's mother and brother are coming up from Florida for the wedding(I have never met them and FI has only seen them like twice in his life) and FIL's think that we need to have them in the limo as well as the grandmother that is up here. This would basically double the limo cost for us. What would you do?????

I'd tell them that I only have room for X amount of people...if they offer to pay for a bigger limo, then fine...but I wouldn't do it myself.

If they want them in a limo than they can pay for it. My father wanted his wife in a limo, an dI told him I couldnt afford it. So he got one himself. Now his wife and the girls in the BP have limo.
I really appreciated that he did this, but I still would not have spent the extra money on it.

We have a 1947 Cadillac for me and FH and a 18 person Cadillac escalade for the BP. We asked our parents/grandma if we should get another 10 passenger lincoln for the family and they told us to save our money so they will be riding in their own cars per their request.

I would leave it up to you FH.
If he wants them in the limo- then spring for it, if he doesn't then don't.
Ultimately it's his decision I think.

Alright this is resolved !! I asked him and we looked at the price of getting another and he said no, so no more worries. Now, to break the news to the in laws......

glad to here, you can suggest they get a limo for them selves(for you and bp totaling 6people an 8 or 10passanger would be good) then the fil's can get their own limo for them and extended family
