I would definitely go there for a cat or kitten. I used to volunteer for the dog part, LAP Dogs, and all the interaction is done by volunteers. Since it is a municipal shelter, it isn't a 'No Kill' shelter and all those little guys need a loving home.

I believe that is where we got our kitty it's been 2 years. I loved it bc they keep all the cats together in a big room so that the cats are all socialized instead of putting them in tiny cages. Then we were able to sit in the room with all of the cats and see how they interacted with us. I love my cat to death!!

Yes, they are great. I volunteered there and my grandma got a cat from there!
