Gratuities

Hello ladies,

I am sure this has been posted before, but what is considered an acceptable tip for the following vendors:

Reception Hall
Photobooth operator
Steel Drummer (cocktail hour)
Photographer
Florist

I am trying to work on my budget and want to make sure I have all expenses covered. Thanks!!

Thanks for asking this! I was curious myself. What about the DJ tip?

Not sure what you mean by RH? Do you mean the maitre'd? If so, it's a suggested gratuity os $3-$6 per guest. It sounds like a lot, and it is, but if you don't have a DOC, the maitre'd basically acts as one and I know my maitre'd personally earned every penny of his tip.

I didn't tip the photobooth operator- he was stank. But I was planning on tipping $20.

We didn't have a steel drummer but we tipped the DJ and MC each $50.

We had 2 photogs and an assistant. We tipped the photogs each $100 and the assistant $50.

Florist we didn't really see. My mom gave her a small tip when she delivered the flowers to our house- I think $20?

We also tipped the limo driver (party bus) $40.

We tipped our altar server $20.

And we tipped one bridal attendant $100 and the other one $50 because he stunk but the girl was awesome.
