Gratuity for Caterer
I am getting married shortly and my fiancee and I are sorting out tips for our vendors. We are unsure how much of a gratuity to give our caterer. He does not own the catering company--he works for them at a specific location. All of our discussions and meetings have been with him. He signed our contract and will 'run the show' on the day of the wedding. We would appreciate any advice from someone who has been in this position. Is the gratuity a percentage of the catering bill or just any flat amount of cash? Thanks in advance for your help.
I love this website. Do you know anyone who can do these types of updos?? I was showing my hairdresser what I want (similar to one on the website) and she gave me a 'yeah, yeah, I can do it' that didnt give me all the confidence I wanted and she also said it would take her 2-2 1/2 hours. On the website the say 1 1 1/2 hrs which makes a huge difference for a morning wedding.
This is what we did..and it looked good You can email me if you [email protected]
Gratuity for Caterer
ALthough we're using a catering/banquet hall, the gratuity is part of the contranct (which is ironic, if you think about it)...anyway, we're OBLIGATED to pay 17% of the total pp price...which was pretty standard % from a discussion on this board a while back.
