So I just spoke with the limo company I am booking and she gave me the price and told me it included gratuity. Is it customary to tip in addition to this? Please help-I'm confused!!!
My understanding is that if gratuity is already included an additional tip is unnecessary. Of course, if you feel that your vendor went way above and beyond, then by all means give them an additional tip. My feeling is, however, that you shouldn't feel obligated when gratuity is included.
Our limo price also includes gratuity. I asked the sales lady what was custom and she said that we do not need to tip extra - unless we wanted to. She said some people do and some people don't. If they do exceptional work and you can afford a little extra, then I say go for it. If you can't do it or the service wasn't all that great, then you don't have to feel bad if you don't.
Gratuity is included in our limo cost as well, but I think it's customary to tip a little that day to the driver.
