okay so my BMs are wearing dark purple dresses, and will have lavender roses... My wedding colors are purple and gray, and I really wanted the guys in gray tuxedos with dark purple vests and ties. My FH and his best man aren't too sure about the gray and are afraid it won't look good, but I feel like black with dark purple is SO dark for a May wedding and almost looks like a bruise. It reminds me of black and navy blue and I feel like it would look terrible.
I attached two pics, help me make the decision! lol
I can't see the pictures! :( but I think gray and purple will look so nice together! ESP in may:)

Did you check out the Vera Wang Black collection at Men's Wearhouse? My girls are in dark purple and the guys are doing the gray tux from that collection. Another bride had similar colors, except she had light purple. I saw her pics and they looked good.

A friend recommended a place in merrick or foresto tuxedo in mineola- FH had a bad experience at men's wearhouse and won't go there

I agree with the other girls, I would say gray. Black and purple would be too dark in my opinion.

You can never go wrong with a black tux no matter what Time of the year the wedding is. I think black looks more formal than gray. But if your going for a more casual, summer look than gray is nice too..

If your colors are purple and gray than def gray tuxes! My girls will also be in dark purple and the guys will be in charcoal gray.

This! I think the light gray looks less formal. But I think black is classic and never looks too dark. My GM are wearing all black with a dark purple tie for my August wedding.
