One of FH's friends said this to him this weekend:
'Dude, no one told me this before I got married, and we've been friends since we are little so I need to make sure you do not make the same mistake, do not get married. stay single' There was no joking involved, he was completely serious.
Of course FH told me this and we both agree that he got married to have a big party all about him (the wedding was alll about him, I knew their marriage would be the same way).
but even knowing the kind of person he is, really, is it necessary to tell FH not to get married.

That's a really awesome 'friend'. I wonder how much longer he's going to be 'married'.

Re: Great advice from FH's friend
I mean, that is just an absurd thing to say to someone - I don't care if you're engaged, married, single. Keep it to yourself.

Re: Great advice from FH's friend
FH & I heard a lot of that this past weekend at our seperate b-parties.
Some people are just so strange. Just because you are unhappy in the decisions you made doesn't mean that everyone else is going to be unhappy.

Misery loves company. Just let it roll off your back...allowing yourself to think about it is, essentially, allowing him to win to some extent.

Re: Great advice from FH's friend
FH said he looked at him and said Okkk, I think I'm going to stick with getting married.
when his friend got married he thought he was getting one thing and ended up getting something else.
He also told FH he plans on traveling the world, alone, sans wife...

Re: Great advice from FH's friend
Just about all of FH's friends said the same thing to him. It's a guy thing I think. They're just a bunch of idiots that think because they have such lousy relationships that ALL relationships are doomed to fail.
