Great alternative to peonies!
Yes, I just spent an hour or two looking up flowers that look like peonies..lolz..this is why I don't have a DJ, Florist, Limo or a Church booked...
But, it is good news for us girls who wanted peonies but are told its 'not in season'.. my personal fav is the Cabbage Rose right now!! Here's some pics....

I love how different they are! I really didnt want to go with the whole rose thing but those are awesome!
