GREAT alternative to Table Cameras

Someone posted this over on The Knot.....

Maybe this was posted already and I just don't know but I thought this was SUCH A GREAT IDEA to pass around again!!!!

'Instead of putting the disposable cameras on the tables at your reception hall, and having pictures from the reception only, and not really knowing what pictures are on the cameras, or what your developing…..how about putting blank CD-ROMS on the tables nicely packaged. You can put them in a case, or an envelope with personalized wording on what to do with the CD’s. You can attach an self-addressed and stamped envelope with each CD. So that all the guest needs to do is burn the uploaded digital photos onto the CD, and drop it in the mail back to you. And now you have everyone’s images of your day for your choosing. '

That is such a great idea!! Thanks for sharing!!! I am totally going to do that. If people are really good maybe they will even take the redeye out too.

wow people are so smart!! great idea b/c my sis had the cameras on the table at her wedding instead of a photographer and everyone took the cameras home

My sister had her wedding in July and did the table cameras....it's now Nov. and they are still not developed haha

Wow that is such a great idea maybe I will incorporate that into my wedding we shall see. The only problem is I am afraid no one will actually do it.

Yeah I agree.. its cute but if I were a guest I would think it would be a pain in the @ss to go through all that work. I like the idea before someone posted about just giving out your email address to get pics...

After my wedding everyone just e-mailed me my pics or put them up on Kodak galleries. It's really easy to just do that. And, there is no cost. I didn't even ask anyone. They did it themselves.
