Great DMV Experience!

Great DMV Experience!

I received mail notification that my drivers license expires next week. I decided to go to the DMV & renew t in person. I work a few blocks away from the DMV office downtown on Greenwich St. Well I was in & out of there in less then 10 minutes!! That included me filling out form, taking a new picture, doing an eye exam & paying. I thought I would be there at least an hour.

So, if anyone needs to go to the DMV for anything & you work in the downtown area, I would definetly recommend you go to this one, but I went at 11:30, I'm sure it gets much busier after 12:00 when everyone takes lunch.

wow im jealous. for my name change i went to that DMV (i work near it too) and i was there for 3 hrs!

This was the first time, I was in & out so quickly. I usually went to the one in College Point & would have to wait at least 3 hours!

There's a DMV express on W. 34th street and if you go during off hours (mid morning, mid afternoon after the lunch hours) you are in and out very quickly!

I've gone to that one and it was so easy. I went to the one in Riverhead this morning to do my name change, it didn't take too long - probably 30 - 45 minutes. I've been married for 8 months and just now starting to get used to the married name!!!!
