Great experience at Invitations and Beyond today! Picked our menus!
So one of the prizes I won at the '09 Shower (I swear I had never won A THING in my life before that day, and since then I have won like 3 more things!! WHAT??!!) was 100 Custom Menus from Invitations and Beyond. I called last week to inquire about using my prize and to make an appointment to come in and select our menus. I made an appointment with Jessica, who is an '07 bride as well as a vendor on here, I found out today! She was so great on the phone, and even more sweet and helpful in person. We decided on the most elegant, gorgeous menus ever!! And the price is great!! FM me if you are interested. They are an ecru pearlescent cardstock, rectangular shape. The menu descriptions will be in black ink, in the same mix of print and bickham script lettering as our invitations. At the top our names will be in black print with our date underneath, and a large 'C' for our initial will be behind our names in the purple ink. At the bottom will be a little flourish/icon thingy that uses both the purple and the green ink of our colors. They really look SICK!!! Also we priced out their programs, which are VERY NICE. I really loved them. They are little booklets, they come in 2 sizes, and they come all assembled and tied with either satin or chiffon ribbon. They come fully assembled, boxed and ready to go. The cover can be any color, the insert pages can be any color, they can use more than one color ink...Very nice. They are more than I wanted to spend on programs, but honestly, they are so nice, I think I'm just going to spend the extra money because they will be a keepsake for us, and they are important to me. And they really aren't expensive imo for what you're geting- it's 4 printed inner pages, and a front and back printed cover, fully assembled and boxed with your choice of ribbon. FM me for pricing questions. We discussed doing a green cover with ivory insert pages, and an ivory ribbon. Then on the inside we would use the same print as our invitations again, a mix of print and script. Also we would use the purple and green ink to highlight words, with black for most of the text. It looked great there. She had some examples and they were all different and great. I just wish I would have been able to take some physical samples home and mail them back, because my parents and FH really wanted to see them in person. Anyway, Jessica was great, I really look forward to working with them! One more check!!
It was cool too, because they had menus AND programs from the Royalton, so it helped me pick!
