great honeymoon idea!

if you're anything like us.... whenever you go on a trip, you're CONSTANTLY asking people to take pictures of the two of you! and it can get kindaaa annoying (especially when you want those cute kissing pics!) or... you try to put the camera on auto to take pictures of yourselves, only to find that your head is cut off....

so, Steve and I were in the Sony store at roosevelt field a few weeks ago, and we bought this portable tripod! it was only $20... and we thought it would be really good for our honeymoon! it has extendable legs too, so you can adjust the height to get the perfect pictures! and it comes with a cleaning cloth and carrying case!

just wanted to share the idea...

FH is a photographer and he bought me a mini tripod for my trip with my friends to europe...my friends made fun but they were all hooked by then end!!

yeah definitely! it's pretty small... i have a sony cybershot and it fits!

OMG, THANK YOU for posting this!!!! I have been saying that I need to get a small portable tripod for the wedding (I want someone to take pics of my ceremony for me, but the only setting that works is without flash and they would have to keep EXTRA steady, which is virtually impossible. The tripod should resolve the issue perfectly!)....

Now I wonder where else there's a Sony store or if I can find it online... Can you post the name or model # of the tripod??? Thanks!

YAY thanks for the link - AND it has free shipping until 4/26!

Stupid question though... it says it has expandable legs up to 7'... does this mean an ADDITIONAL 7' to the height it already has, or that it goes up to 7' high TOTAL? Like does it only expand an additional inch or an add'l 7?


ETA: Oh, and hmmmm, I have a Nikon point and shoot digital... I wonder if that would work with it... I still might get it though and try it out.

This is a great idea!

FH hates asking people to take pics for us so when we go on vaca we always end up with all kinds of 'big head' pictures. (when you take the pic yourself with your arm stretched out in front of you)
