They called today and offered it to him!! YES!! I'm so happy for him. He deserved it and I'm so PROUD of him!! FH graduated in 2002 with a BS in Computer Engineering. He couldn't find a job, so he decided to relocate to Chicago with me (I came to Chicago to go to grad School). Anyways, he started temping for a mortage company (not doing computer stuff) and they hired him. Then in Oct, they laid off everyone and relocated to Canada. In the meantime, FH also decided to go to graduate school to get his MS in Software Engineering. So since 2002, he's been looking for a job in his field. He had a really good interview about 2 months ago (made it to the second round), but then they said that there was no opening in the training program so they couldn't hire him. FH was so SADDD, and I was soo MADD . I mean why interview if you have no room in your training program. So the HR director of the company calls today, and said that he was able to find a spot in the training program and the he really wanted my FH. FH has to go in tomorrow to signs the paper and he starts the training program on MONDAY!!
It's been hard living off my little graduate student stipend, so we really really needed this. GOD IS GOODD!!!

Thanks so much for all the congrats! I have to show FH this when I get home. No, I don't think we're going out to celebrate this weekend. FH is still taking classes and have group meetings on the weekends, but we'll celebrate at home.
