Great Place to get dresses

My mom and I went to Priscilla of Boston in Roslyn yesterday. it was awesome. There wasn't a tacky dress in the entire place and everyone who works there is incredible. They really know what will work and have excellent judgment. They never pushed the most expensive gown and even suggested ways to save money (changing fabric or removing some lace). In the end - we got the most expensive dress because we really found the right dress and neither my mom nor I thought we'd get a dress like that at a better deal anyway.

By the way - it was not what I thought I'd get. i wanted off the shoulder sleeves and a full skirt. I got a strapless lace dress in a sheeth silhouette. I loved it. They aren't cheap but the service is truly top notch and such a comfortable environment.
I went to Amsale (nice dresses but liked Priscilla better). Bridal Atelier by Mark Ingram is good too but the Priscilla dresses were really the nicest I've seen.

Sounds like you and I shop the same places. I loved Priscilla too! And Mark Ingram was ok, didn't like the service as much and I didn't find as much that I loved.

I was torn between the gown at Priscilla of Boston and the one at Kleinfeld's and ended up going with Kleinfeld's. But, I second your recommendation that girls try Priscilla. Not cheap, but the material, workmanship and service are worth it IMO.
