You have the house inspection tomorrow with the engineer right? He or she will have a list of things they check and will provide you with a report afterward. You don't have to inspect anything. That what is you pay them to do. This list is for when you go to the house the day before closing for a walk through to make sure everything works and nothing has changed since the original inspection. Good luck with everything.
Oh and to answer your question the walk through was fine and we closed today without a problem. Best of luck with your inspection and new home.
