My fiance' and I are looking to travel to Greece for our honeymoon. We weren't sure whether to book with agent or try to find something online. We are looking to fly into Athens and then go to Santorini, Mykonos, and Crete. Does anyone have any recommendations for where to start or what to look for? Thanks!

We are going to Greece for our honeymoon. Mykonos, Santorini and Athens. I am booking everything on my own and have found tripadvisor.com to be very helpful.

i did it all through a place called meanderadventures.com ... the woman's name was shirley. SHE IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!! i did the exact same honeymoon--- give her a budget adn she will give you want you want---and the very best for your money... check out ikies in santorini, petasos beach hotel or mykonos grand in mykonos, casa del fino in crete and in athens there are a few hotels. we stayed at hera hotel. rooms are small but it's a block away from everything---acropolis included.

So funny...I have booked our honeymoon at Ikies and Mykonos Grand as well. They look awesome. I worked directly with the hotels, both were very accomodating and easy to work with.

I did Athens, Santorini and Mykonos for ours. We had an amazzzzing time!
The hotels we stayed at were Davani Palace in Athens, Sun Rocks in Santorini and Mykonos Grand in Mykonos.
We booked it through Liberty Travel, and it was all the same prices I found online and I searched extensively (especially through trip advisor) Liberty Travel works with TourLite, and we had all the transfers btw the airports/hotels/ports included. It was nice not to have to worry about that.

We booked out Greece honeymoon through Homeric tours. They specialize in Greece and actually have an office in Athens. We are doing Athens and staying at the Baby Grand, Mykonos staying at the Mykonos Grand and Santorini staying at the Strass residences.
i recommend a travel agent. I guess I get paraniod but i like that they are on hand to answer questions and they can think about things that you might now...such as trasfers...if you take a boat sometimes the wind make the boats get canceled so flying sometimes is best...I wouldn't have known that...just a suggestion
