we are doing a cruise for our HM and we are stopping at a few Greek islands while we are there, Santorini, Athens, Olympia and Corfu
i lived in Greece for a little while. it is very easy to get around there if you are thinking islands. you can book tickets on the high power ferries that leave from Athens and go to all the major islands (i was on Santorini, Paros, and Mykonos). once you are on an island just rent a scooter and that will get you around. and you can book a hotel, or just walk in, and book a few nights. be sure to carry cash though because you can get anything you wants with a little tip.
FH and I went to Greece last year and I planned the whole trip. Mind you I am not Greek and had never been there b/f my trip. Lots and lots of research was involved. Let me know if you need help. I can definently recommend some good hotels at a worthy price.
