holy $hit, you guys are right after staring at it forever, the gray part (its really white) is like the border or window, she prob took it in the room and at that point it opens to the outside, thats Santorini for ya!!!!!

My co=worker is from Thessaloniki , I want to visit there...Ive been to most of the islands....some are just not worth going to..like Patmos..total waste of time..beautiful! but nothing to do.
My FH is from up there. I have been to Thess, its Ok, for some reason I didnt like it, I prefer and love Athens so much. My FH is from Katerini (up north) I love that place.
The first time i went i wore HUMUNGOUS high heels...I walked around...and im staring at every girls feet like why are they not wearing heels..THIS IS EUROPE!!!!!!!! Fashionistas where are you..and then after I fell and busted my a$$ i found out why..... SO Warning to all you Athens Honeymooners bring Flats!
I know right, I swear like 90% of the girls that I saw in Gr wore flats, they are the IN thing now, I bought a couple of pairs of fancy flats from there and they hurt my feet bec I am not used to wearing them, I used to at least a little heel. and the sidewalks are textured and it hurts, lol
LOL I did not one wear pair of heels I brought!!! Everrrryone wears flats. I bought 2 pairs while there! I didn't get to wear any of my sun dresses either. Usually wore my skinny jeans or shorts, or casual cropped pants.

When I went last year I brought like 10 pairs of shoes with me and must have only worn like 4 pairs, I am an idiot, lol, I bought more shoes from Greece, I love the shoes there. You have to help me and tell me where to stay when I go to Santorini. I plan on going to Mykonos in Aug, but dont have a place to stay yet, can you suggest a place, I plan on booking when Im there. I will be going by ferry so do I have to book that ahead of time?? I only travel to the Ionian never to the Aegean so I dont know. We stayed at the Mykonos Grand.. we loved it. There is a website for the Fast ferries. I believe you have to purchase them in advance..maybe a few days to a week? Bc the schedules change, and you are going in high season.. might be kinda hard to book when you get there?
