Just trying to figure out my HM budget? Has anyone booked their trip to the Aegan Palace yet?? I'm trying to figure our airfare and the best time to go.

I use kayak fare tracker to figure out the cheapest time of year to fly. I know that iberian was having a special to Athens for $429 with all taxes to Greece
summertime to Greece is around 980-1,000

im in the same situation...we're trying to decide if we want to go there...do you know about the nightlife and food and such im just nervous because i dont hear too many people using the hotel
and i did look at airfair and it was about $1000 a person

I've heard the hotel is amazing from several people but I'm with you I know nothing about the Island or the nightlife. There must be someone on here that has gone or know someone who has. I know someone who is going in August for their 1 year anniversary but I'm a big baby and want the scoop now!!!

omg i know my FH wants to go and he doesnt care if we dont know anything about it...but i need to know everything...does the hotel even have a restaurant ?or should we be doing some research on the town and their food i dunno im always scared about the silly stuff
I always read reviews on this site and they are usually on the money!

i always go to greece in the summertime and figure airfare to be at least 1000

Hey I heard crete has good nightlife..and i heard santorini is one of the best hm spots in greece

it depends.. do u want to go when alll the tourists are there?? cuz then ur looking at more than 1k for airfar.e olympic airways u fly to athens..then take another plane to crete.. or u can go by boat(much longer obviously..and its not like a cruise lolol)
if u go round may.. it will be warm enough to swim and quiet enough to be super romantic
august is busiest season for hotels and tourism. especially around the 15th. or u can go mid to late sept... still warm enough to swim but all teh tourists will be gone by then.

I am not going through that package obviously, but we will be going to Greece, and originally we were thinking July 2010, but now may be doing early September 2010 so it won't be as busy, and the weather is still warm. I was informed by FH's father that any earlier than July and you risk it still being a little rainy, because June was also an option for us, but is now no longer because of that.
