We're going to be doing a Greek Dance but the band told us we may want to bring in a CD for the music, as its not really their forte. Anyone have some reccomendations on a CD or a song we would use? I am clueless on this stuff and none of the CDs my dad have were really working for us...

Re: Greek Brides come in!
Hi!
I'm in the same situation! I have to give my DJ some greek music too.
Do you want to do traditional greek dances? Listen to Greek modern pop? Or just greek music to listen to while eating?
Anyway I found this website http://www.greekmusic.com/ You can download songs for 1.30.

Re: Greek Brides come in!
I think i would have a mix of diffrent greek songs. I think you need Zorba, hasapiko, kalamatiano, and tsiftetelly. Tsiftetelly you can have them play Diana Vandy, thats always fun, but you need some old greek music also. I wish I could help you with the songs, I am not 2 sure about the rest. I hope I helped you alittle bit. FM me if you need any more info. Who are you using for a DJ. I have not booked mine yet. I was trying to get a greek DJ because they know greek music best.

I would suggest going to Greek Music & Video (GMV) in Astoria and asking the salesgirl for a recommendation on a mixed CD.
