Greek Islands in October??

Greek Islands in October??

I'm getting married September 30th and plan on leaving the next day. Does anyone know how the weather is during that time? I really want 80-90 degrees for beach weather. and FI really thinks its beautiful there.

We're going to Greece and were told to wait and go the summer after our wedding.....which we are doing.

FFIL just came back from three weeks in Greece. He said the weather was gorgeous. The weather for the most part was 80-85 degrees and sunny. He was there from late Sept. to mid Oct.

We are doing the greek Islands, but in April/May.
I know its the hottest in July/Aug.. and trust me you don't want to be there in that heat. I think Sept/Oct is very nice there.. prob in the 80's..which I think is perfect.

I went to crete in the beginning of May, and thought it could have been warmer (the water was freezing) but I think the water should be warm in the fall coming right off the hot summer

we went to turkey (close to greece and pretty much the same climate) a few years ago from mid till end of october and the weather was amazing...still warm enough to swim.

We went at the end of September - mid October. I was probably in the upper 70s, and got a lot cooler the last day or two that we were there. It was definitely warm enough to lay by the pool/ocean, but it wasn't extremely hot. It's more likely to be in the 70s, maybe lower 80s in October than in the mid 80s to upper 90s.

I went to Greece for the 2004 Olympics (August). The islands are much cooler than the mainland. The weather was prefect on the islands with a strong breeze. So I would imagine it's much cooler in October. It really depends what you consider too hot or too cold.
