Greek ladies . . .hm related

I'm rethinking my original honeymoon ideas and have been thinking a LOT about Greece. Where would you stay in Athens? Any other recommendations for either islands and/or hotels?

So far I am thinking of doing Athens (need a hotel), Crete (I LOVE the Blue Palace) and Santorini (Rocabella looks nice, as does Sunrocks Hotel). Can we skip Mikonos or is it a must see?

Help! I was so set on Paris and Italy - but Greece just really shook things up for me!! TIA!!

anywhere in the center is fine for athens. their trains are sooooo easyyyyy to use. i went last yr for 5 days and used their metro. theres like 5 lines and everything is in english and greek, so u wont get confused.

u can take a cruise.. u fly to venice.. and from venice the ship goes to croatia. and i think 3-5 places in greece.

ive only been to athens and my island KOS. my friend owns a few resorts in crete and kos if you want info.

Thanks for the tips!! Center of Athens - have you ever heard of the Grande Bretagne?

We don't want to do a cruise for our hm and don't want to be moving around too much, but we thought for tourists like us, those three places would do the trick!

If we can, we are considering a Greece/Italy trip....Greece to see my neck of the woods and Italy for his....

I would definetly go see Santorini and Mikonos if you can.....they are beautiful islands, from what I hear....unfortunately, I have never seen them since each time I go to Greece, I am stuck visiting 29048029834029 cousins in some small town.....ugh......so jealous!

KOS sounds so nice also....I really wish I could actually see all of these nice places rather than hear about them!

in athens i would stay close to the acropolis, you dodnt want to stay in athens long anyway a day or 2 is plenty lol

i would DEFINITIELY go to crete absolutley amazing from what i hear, thats my next place to go, stay in any of the elounda hotels http://www.elounda.com/ (i believe blue palace is a part of them and have heard that plce is outta control) they are beyond ridiciulous!

Mykonos you can skip i dont think its a must see, its really pretty but can get rowdy i wouldnt wanna go there for hm, went for like 2 days and that was plenty,

Santorini is gorgeousssssssssssss, absolutely amazing

Rhodes is also really nice i heard

I went to Paros last time and it was beautiful there!!! and its actually really convenient because its part of cyclades, which is like a circles of islands and they have ferry service to the other islands so it lets you see a few.

my co-worker actually stopped in mykonos for her hm and she liked it, it is beautiful and i think there are quieter parts but there are honestly so many gorgeous islands that i wouldnt want to be cornered off into the quiet section
