Greek Wedding Traditions

Hi,

My fiance and I are at odds about our bridal party. I don't want to have any bridesmaids besides my maid of honor (koumbara). My fiancee however wants to put his two married cousins as ushers in our bridal party because he feels he owes it to them because they put him in theirs. I should point out that they do not have close relations. I also don't want to be forced into putting their wives as bridesmaids since I am not close to either of them. As per Greek wedding traditions, the bridal party should consist of single, not married, men and women. Are there any Greek brides out there that can offer some advice and support??
