I'm so sick of rules. All they do is drive me crazy.
Ask your Koumbaroi and your Mom what they think and explain that if you want to use your wedding colors, it's like using white anyway. Put up a good argument on how pretty it would be. Good Luck!

I think you can do what you want but I know if I ask my mom for example she will say white is appropriate. But honestly do what you want.
