'Green' Favors

I really want to do something 'green' for my favors. I was thinking about do something with lavender plants this way it is 'green' and the smell of the plant will give back to my guests by relaxing them. Any other ideas for 'green' favors? Thanks ladies!

You can do personalized seed packets, or they also have these cool sparkling cider bottles that are packaged in seed paper. The paper is biodegradable and contains plant seeds in it, which supposedly grow after planted. That way no wasteful packaging. Donations can also be spun as green because no waste is involved.

LOL my company specialized in 'green' event gear, so I'm an expert in green marketing and all things eco friendly. I have tons of resources and ideas, so let me know if you need any more suggestions!

Anything you are willing to offer would be greatly appreciated. Our families are not as eco-conscious so I don't want to see cheap giving those seed planters which I think are wonderful but I can see a few if you know what I mean. Thanks sooo much!

This is the website that has the seed cards:

Naturally, lol. The cider they offer is a little pricey, but you could easily get the bags from them and get wholesale pricing from a store for the bottles. I'll try to think of more suggestions, it's hard when I'm not at work to source things. I'll keep on the lookout.

the last wedding i went to, the couple gave out little jars of organic strawberry jam from a farm out east--local (no carbon footprint) and pesticide-free.

there's also the donation route, which i think is the 'greenest' of them all.

We are thinking of doing 'tree in a box' since it will be neater and easier to transport home for guests...here is the website!Tree in a box
