Greentea and Ovulex - any opinions? info?

Have any of you heard anything (good or bad) about taking greentea vitamins and/or Ovulex?

I think I'd start eating pine needles if someone told me if would help me get pregnant (and stay that way)!

I agree....What is ovulex?? and where can you get it??

I just heard about it on another site, the website is www.ovulex.com I read about it and figured I'd try it...why not, right?

Probably tastes better than pine needles.

I've read mixed things about green tea on the tcoyf.com boards.


I think it supposedly does something to your CM. but the only thing is that it does have caffeine.

I recently read something about too much green tea decreasing folic acid levels which can put your baby at risk for neural tube defects. I can't remember where I read it though.
Don't know anything about ovulex.

drinking green tea is good if you need more EWCM. Just drink the decaf. it has the same effects. ANd it does work.
i don't know about the pills

The green tea capsules are fine. You're suppose to take them from AF until you 'O'. Then you're suppose to stop taking them. There's really no reason to take them unless you lack fertile CF.

I heard of extra Vitamin C can help you get PG!

Have you tried Preseed?

What is preseed?
What about baby asprin?

Preseed is a sperm friendly lubricant that you use for TTC. It has helped a lot of people get PG. It's like your own EWCM that some women produce during 'O'. It comes with 5 applicators filled with the lubricant. I've heard it works great!

You girls are so informative

you shouldn't take baby aspirin without consulting your doctor. It's mainly for people with a specific problem ( i think clotting). It could thin your blood (and uterine lining) too much.

royal jelly and bee pollen are really good. Ihaven't taken it, but heard they worked.

also, what effect are you looking for? Different herbs and vitamins do different things.
If your luteal phase is too short take vitex. i think b6 also for short lp and i think ovulate late (i think its good for hormones too... i forget).

I have a day or 2 til my beta levels drop and I get AF...so I have time to research a little.

I was taking Ovulex during my 2 month break from the RE. For that short time it seemed to be working. I had more CM and I got AF more regular. I got it on Ebay...it was cheaper than buying it from Ovulex.

Preseed is good too...if you are taking Clomid, you probably don't have much CM so the preseed helps when you are babydancing.
