Patrick Dempsey's character is married!

At the end of the show, he's talking to Meredith and this woman walks up. He says, 'I'm so sorry Meredith,' and the woman introduces herself as his wife!

Well it's pretty obvious that they're separated or something because he's been avoiding her calls & they seemed cold & angry towards each other - so I'm sure he's not with her, BUT he still lied lied lied to poor Meredith!!!!!!!!
