I'm not sure about that part, but he did a number on her.

I know and he totally diserved to get more than his penid offed BUT I thought she cut it off! I didn't realized she BIT it off!

I thought they said that it wasn't a 'clean cut' when they went to reattach it, which would make people assume it was bitten off

They did say she bit it off! When the surgeon found the piece and said 'What is this?' and Grey said 'Oh my god! She bit it off!' And then they said her digestive juices had dissolved the skin so they couldn't reattach.
