ok - whatis the etiquette on inviting girlfriends of the GM's to your bridal shower??

do you invite them? or does it look like you are digging for a gift?

i am asking because one of FH's good friends has a girlfriend for awhile now and i have only met her once - but he is a groomsman and a LOOONG time friend of FH - so i dont want them to feel snubbed. what do you think??

I would invite her...I have been invited to showers of FH's friends fiances and I have never looked at it like they were digging for a gift. I think it is nice to be invited.

I would only invite her if you were inviting other groomsmen's gfs or wives or if she was going to know other people there.

ETA: But, if you are inviting the other groomsmen's gfs and wives, I'd definitely invite her. I can't tell you how many showers/bachelorette parties/girls nights out that it seems like I've been the only one not invited to!!!
