Groom & Bestman

We're not having any groomsmen at our wedding (since FH lives in Co and we'll be having a second wedding there a month after the original). So it's just going to be him and his bestman. My question is - do they wear the same tux??? Since it's a Christmas wedding, I think FH is going to have a black tux with a red vest & tie. Does the Bestman wear that same exact thing??? Or is he supposed to be different so that the groom stands out?

How about the Father of the Bride? Is he supposed to wear something similar? Or does that not matter? Sooo confused.

Usually the groom looks a little different from the BM and male relatives.

Usually the fathers and other male relatives wear just plain black vest and tie. What about having the BM wear the red vest and tie, and have your FH wear white vest and tie? That is what many ppl do. I think my FH wants to wear the white underneath.
