I was thinking of having the dessert at the RD be a grooms cake to surprise my FH. I'm really excited about the idea but I don't know what to get it of!! He is obsessed with every sport so I didnt want to pick one. I was thinking of doing the McCarthy coat of arms since he's proud of his Irish heritage but when I looked up its image, I thought it might be really weird and random for a grooms cake.
What did you girls do? Any ideas/pictures?
Also any recommendations of who a good and affordable vendor??

i dont know about any ideas--but what you mentioned sounds really cool
you could try dortonis, cakes by mona, or taste of home..i think these are the vendors im going to look at

MY FH LOVES the simpsons... so I am getting the couch with Marge and Homer in wedding gear drinking beer...

You got me thinking, tell me if this is a crazy idea:
What if I do a four leaf clover and have something he loves in each of the leaves of the clover? Like a sports leaf with yankees/giants/devils symbol; him scoring a soccer goal (he played that all growing up);, us on a couch with our 2 cats (we love our kitties!), and something else significant?
hmm..i think i like it if it doesnt look to busy and you can still tell its in a green four leaf clover!
