Groom Seeks Help With Temples On Long Island

My fiance and I have been looking at various catering halls on Long Island but we are also interested in being married in a temple/syangogue.

We would like to restrict our search to Nassau County but western Suffolk County would be just fine too. We can't break the bank on our wedding as we are aware of Morelle Caterers who are very impressive but outside of our price range.

Any suggetsion would be greatly appreciated. We've looked at a handful of temples including Avodah and are interested in people's though on it as well. Thanks!

I'm your girl. My sister got married at Beth Torah (Dix Hills) which is Morrell.

We looked at South Huntington, Beth El, Woodbury, Shelter Rock.

I know Avodah is very reasonably prices as well as Chaverhim....

Definitely check out East Meadow Jewish Center! I found their prices to much more competitive than some of the other temples and we've only heard great things about them so far. I can't say too much since my wedding isn't until November. So far, I've had an easy time dealing with them. And for the price, I think they really include a lot compared to some other temples we saw. And East Meadow doesn't restrict which florist you use (most of the other temples we looked at made you go with their house florist).

i have never seen it, but i heard b'nai shalom and temple emanuel in great neck are nice.

as far as price, east meadow, chavermim, avodah and south huntington are the best priced.

what are you looking for? some are more modern (woodbury, temple israel, beth torah)
