My parents threw a surprise Groom shower for my future husband on Sunday. It was so funny. He had no idea what the heck was going on :) It really was just the close family, but very funny! I think my parents got him every tool that home depot sells. Now they are in a huge pile in our apartment and probably gonna stay in the packaging for a while! This is a little tradition that my parents started a while back so that the groom doesn't fel left out of the parties! I just wish they would have gotten me a litlle something to! What am I gonna do with a saw???

I wish somebody would do that for my FH - we need so much stuff like that - I wanted to have a 'jack and Jill' shower where couples would be invited and either get us something from our registry or a registry at home depot, but my MOH just wanted to do a traditional shower....oh well!

There's no reason YOU can't get the power tools at the shower. Shower gifts are for both of you, not just the bride.
