has anyone ever tried to groom their own dog??? we bought the professional grooming stuff, and it came with a video, however, the dog on the video was so well behaved!! i need tips on how to groom an out-of-control dog like Buster!!!! He is a yorkie, and i keep him in a puppy cut.

Re: grooming at home???
if i had a Yorkie forget about it. i wouldnt do it myself.
my only dog that requires grooming is, ironically enough, my hairless dog and do her myself.
but a long haired dog like a yorkie i wouldnt have the patience for.

I cut, I mean practically hack Bruno's hair off whenever I feel he's in a deep enough sleep on my lap or in a really mushy mood. He certainly doesn't want to stay still. I've tried a few different groomers and even they said he's a tough one. Good Luck!!
