Once pics are done they can do whatever they want.

God no. Those things have to be so uncomfortable. It's whatever they want.

Re: grooms
good luck with that one.
it gets hot in the hall, especially if you're dancing. IMO, you can't tell people to keep their jackets on.

Hahaha. My FH generally keeps his coat on (he's very anal about his dress and does not like the look of an 'incomplete' tux ) so I don't think I'll have this problem. However if he does want to take it off I'll make him put it back on for the cake and the dance with his mom and stuff.

No. I want him to be as comfortable as possible. I'll leave it up to him. He'll be nervous enough without me nagging him...lol

I would like him and the groomsmen to have their jacket off throughout the introduction and first dance and everything. Then he can take it off and put it on as needed and the groomsmen can do whatever they want.

Re: grooms
I didn't think about this until now (a year and a half later, LOL).
DH had his on most of the night, at least that's what my pictures show. I think there are a few pictures without.
He can always put his jacket back on for moments where he'll be the center of attention.

As long as he gets through the vows, he can do whatever his darling heart desires.

Ditto. You can see the pictures in my review and he had it off for parts of the reception but would put it back on...

Doesn't matter to me, as long as him and the guys are comfortable. Don't want to sound like a bridezilla asking them to keep them on. As long as they make it through the first dance, then I'm fine if they take it off afterwards!

Nope. As long as the jackets are on in the pictures.

I agree. When pics are done feel free to do as you wish.

Re: grooms
I went to a wedding where as soon as the ceremony was over the groom took off his jacket and vest and loosened his tie and he looked all disheveled. I thought it looked bad.
Tuxes are not comfortable, I understand that, but I'm going to ask my honey to keep his jacket and tie on. People will be taking pictures all night.

Are you marrying my FH's brother????? I am planning on asking the florist for an extra bout for him for this very reason!

Re: grooms
i would prefer that my groom wear his jacket all night--i mean i don't get to take my dress off along with the crazy amount of underwear i'll be sporting under it to defy gravity and keep my boobs up and gut in.
if i have to wear allll that -- his lazy @ss can handle a jacket all day!
