Groom's cake

Is anyone else using a grooms cake for the RH? I am trying to brain storm some ideas. My FH is really into fantasy and final fantasy games. And he loves reading fantasy novels. Any suggestions? I wanted something different. And We both are into Japanese anime.

hmmm maybe get it in the shape of his favorite character, or you can have them make the cover of his favorite video game or book.

You would be amazed by what some of these talented bakers can do. I would just find an image or character that you really like and bring it to the Chocolate Duck (ask for Chrissy) in Farmingdale. She can make a can into ANYTHING. The cake can be in the shape of a character or symbol, or perhaps just be a normal cake with fondant characters on it. The possibilities are endless!

I had a BMW car made for my DH. It was a surprise at the RH. Pics in my Wedding Pics album. I used Dortoni Bakery in Levittown. The cake tasted great. Here is their website and they have some of their cakes on the site. There are so many choices like AutmBride said. http://www.dortonibakery.com/Our_Products.htm

I'm having a Grooms Cake at the rehearsal dinner. My FH is in a fraternity, so his cake will represent that.
