I am looking to do a grooms cake. I don't really know where to start looking, are there any websites out there. I was also wondering do you have the cake at the wedding or at the RD.

Re: Grooms Cake
I had DH's cake for him at the RD. It was a replica motocycle, that unfortunately I haven't uploaded pictures of yet but it was amazing!!! I had it made by the Chocolate Duck in Farmindale. She does great work. Exactly what I wanted!!!

Re: Grooms Cake
I'm doing mine from Audrey's Bakery! I can't say enough about the experience!!! I'm so happy with the vendor it's insane! Here is a pic of the one that he's going to do for me....but in my FH's teams - this is not an accurate pic yet!
tpically you have the grooms cake at the RD... and that cake can be anything you want... i was thinkin for having a cake made of the mets and the jets FH's fav teams... this is what a magazine i was just reading said...
'Today the cake is meant to reflect the groom's interests, whether it be hobbies, a favorite sport, his profession, etc... Serve the cake at the RD, as an alternate dessert with the wedding cake, or as a late night dessert for the wedding party. Primarily groom cakes are said to be a fruit cake or a chocolate cake, but that shouldn't dictate what you should have.....'
